# Requesting Ownership of a Service Area Business (SAB)

The process differs slightly for SABs (no physical address shown):

1. Go to: [business.google.com/create](https://business.google.com/create)
2. Enter business name and details exactly as listed.
3. Proceed to verification (typically via postcard).
4. Once verified, you’ll see a conflict message: “This listing is already owned.”
5. Click to request access and fill in the request form as above.

Once submitted, the process follows the same path as a storefront business.

Top Tip: Claiming a SAB using a Google account connected to the business’s Analytics and Search Console data can significantly improve your success rate.
{% endhint %}
