# What Happens If There’s No Response?

If the current owner doesn’t respond after three days, Google allows you to check your request status via the confirmation email.

* If no response after 7 days, you may see an “Appeal Now” link.
* If Google can verify your account through Analytics or Search Console, they may unverify the inactive owner and allow you to verify the profile again yourself.
* Inactive owners (often seen by Google as bouncing emails or outdated contact details) will typically be unverifiable, and their access will be removed.

Google takes care to ensure the right owner manages the profile, and will attempt multiple follow-ups before initiating a forced transfer.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.bookline.io/google-business-profile/requesting-ownership-of-a-google-business-profile/what-happens-if-theres-no-response.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
